Rockstar comes to Kashmir

The scenic beauty of Kashmir Valley has once again
attracted the attention of Bollywood
stars. Actor Rambir Kaphoor and Nagis
are these days shooting for Jab We Met
director Imtiyaz Ali’s at Pahalgam. About 2000 enthusiastic villagers
thronged the spot to witness the film
shooting. Happiness was visible among
the people, as they saw a ray of hope
towards the revival of tourist industry. “It is great to see the stars here,” said Muhammad Ramzan a villager, who is
associated with tourism industry from
over two decades.
Although Kashmir has been a paradisiacal
location, the producers and location
managers have not shown much enthusiasm to ideas of shooting their
films there.
According to some news reports Ranbir
Kapoor is gifting his parents a holiday in
Kashmir. The actor is excited that his
parents Rishi and Neetu will join him for the Kashmir leg of the shooting of
Rockstar.
"His parents have this Kashmir connection
as they have shot the maximum number
of movies in the Valley. They love that
place and Ranbir wanted to do something special for them. They will be
joining him in Kashmir for a chilled out
vacation," says a source.
