Quran: The book of guidance

This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah. (Quran)
“And we have sent down to thee the book explaining all things, a guide, a mercy and glad tidings to Muslims”. (Quran)


For twenty three years Mohammad (SAW) received the holy messages from Allah. These messages came to the Prophet (SAW) on different occasions and at different places. He recited them and was later on recorded; they are inscribed on his heart and memory. Quran is the book of wisdom, of divinity and of truth. It is Allah’s greatest blessing, the source of guidance for the mankind; it is an elixir. Quran is the ultimate source of guidance and light that takes mankind out of depths of darkness to enlightenment and directs it towards the right path. Allurements of evil seem attractive and many people prefer evil ways but Quran speaks clearly, unambiguously “The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favour, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.” The revelations are so powerful that rocks split into pieces. Will man can afford to neglect the message of their lord. The Quran is the source of hope and spiritual regeneration. There is no power on earth which can affect the greatness of Quran.

“Do you order righteousness of the people and forget yourselves while you recite the Scripture? Then will you not reason?”

It is obligatory for Muslims to read, study and importantly understand the Quran. The words of Quran must not be read in hurry but must be pondered over.

“They are on (true) guidance, from their Lord, and it is these who will prosper.”
